Vastint Holding B.V. is looking for a newly created position as MS Dynamics 365 FO Consultant for our head office in Amsterdam.

Currently, each entity has its own systems surrounding Finance & Operations. Vastint has the ambition to harmonize this in the coming period through the further implementation and design of MS Dynamics 365 FO.

As a Technical Consultant Dynamics 365 F&O at Vastint, you are the technical expert who focuses on developing and adapting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O). You are part of an IT team to jointly implement the best solution for all stakeholder wishes.

As a D365 F&O technical consultant, you have extensive knowledge of all aspects of Dynamics 365 F&O, you know the best practices and you can set up the processes on the platform. You also have an active role in the migration process to Dynamics 365 (F&O) within our current programs.

As a Dynamics 365 F&O Consultant you will ensure the continuity in and optimal functioning of Dynamics 365 F&O. You will provide high-quality business & functional consultancy around the Dynamics 365 platform and the associated Apps. In your role you will be supporting colleagues in the business in the adoption of the new way of working, using Dynamics 365 with a focus on the Finance & Operations modules.

Working at Vastint as an MS Dynamics 365 F&O means ensuring solution integrity for implementation projects involving Dynamics 365 F&O and providing valuable advice to the various stakeholders regarding the design and implementation of business systems.

Roll location

We work from Amsterdam as a base, however because our projects may require travel and on-site work, you must be prepared to work from home or at one of our European locations if necessary.

What we are looking for:

Qualifications experience

  • University degree preferably in Economics, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Science or comparable education.
  • At least 5 to 7+ years of ERP consulting experience – preferably with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O or earlier versions of Dynamics AX.
  • System Administration: Understanding of D365 FO’s system administration tasks, such as user management, role assignments, workflow management, and security configurations.
  • Data Management: Strong skills in data entities, data management framework, and experience with data import/export processes, including knowledge of handling CSV/Excel files, data migrations, and integrations.
  • Electronic Reporting: Familiarity with Electronic Reporting (ER) configuration and the ability to design and maintain electronic reports, including working with mappings, expressions, and custom reports.
  • Customization and Development: Proficiency in X++, the programming language used in D365 FO for customization and development. Able to create custom modules, enhance existing functionality, and troubleshoot any custom code.
  • Power Platform Integration: Experience with Microsoft Power Platform tools such as Power BI, PowerApps, and Power Automate, to extend and integrate D365 FO functionality.
  • Lifecycle Services (LCS): Expertise in using Microsoft’s Lifecycle Services (LCS) for environment management, project tracking, deployment, and issue resolution.
  • Azure DevOps: Proficiency in using Azure DevOps for version control, pipeline automation, and collaboration with functional and technical teams.
  • Visual Studio: Strong experience using Visual Studio for developing and debugging X++ code, managing projects, and performing performance tuning.
  • API and Integration Development: Understanding of Data Management Framework and experience in integrating D365 FO with other systems via REST APIs, OData, and custom services.
  • SQL Server: Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and SQL queries, especially in managing and optimizing the D365 FO database, understanding entity storage, and handling performance-related issues.
